The baccoy is a large mammal with six legs, long white fur and a short tail. They typically run in herds of roughly twelve to twenty members, although loners are not uncommon.
While they spend most of their time roaming the plains, many will venture into forests in search of food. Their diet consists of grass, ferns and other small shrubs.
