Shade is large and tough, with a short temper and intimidating appearance. She is very good at her job, although despises the existence of the physical realm. She was the leader of the group that was sent to capture the Starshifter Mystery.

While she doesn't especially enjoy company of any kind, she generally tolerates Gloom's presence.
