The Shadow Dimension is an exact replica of the Multiverse, but lacks, light, colour, energy and matter. It can generally only be accessed by Shadow Guardians, and exists for the sole purpose of allowing them to move around more easily.

The Shadow Dimension is vital to the work of Shadow Guardians, as exposure to light is harmful to them. They can spend quite a lot of time inside it, as it does not drain their energy like the Physical Realm, however, it cannot be used to replenish them either.
